Proud to Be Part of the Picayune Community
Proud to Be Part of the Picayune Community
At Mossy of Picayune, being part of the community means more than serving local drivers. It means showing up for the schools, families, organizations, first responders, and events that make Picayune and Pearl River County a great place to call home. From Friday night football and family events to programs that bring neighbors together, our team is proud to support the people and organizations that strengthen our community. Our involvement throughout Picayune and Pearl River County reflects a simple belief: when local businesses support local organizations, everyone benefits. That is why Mossy of Picayune continues to sponsor and participate in events and programs serving people of all ages throughout the area.
Bringing Families Together at Trunk or Treat
One of our favorite community traditions happens right here at Mossy of Picayune. Our annual Trunk or Treat is a FREE event for local families, and the celebration is approaching an exciting milestone with its 10th year. Trunk or Treat gives families a fun place to celebrate the Halloween season together while connecting with neighbors and other members of the Picayune community. Reaching nearly a decade of this tradition means a great deal to our team, and we look forward to continuing to welcome families for plenty of treats, costumes, and community fun.
Our support for family-focused events extends beyond our dealership. Mossy of Picayune has also sponsored Kids Day at the Commons, a summer event that brings local families together, as well as the City of Picayune’s Christmas on the Rails. These celebrations are part of what makes Picayune feel like home, and we are proud to play a role in keeping these community traditions going.
Supporting Picayune and Pearl River County Schools
Schools are at the heart of a strong community, and Mossy of Picayune is proud to support students, educators, athletes, and extracurricular programs throughout the area. Our local sponsorships have included the Pride of the Tide Dance Team, Pearl River Middle School staff T-shirts, PRC High School Football, and PRC High School Basketball. Whether students are competing on the field, taking the court, performing with their teammates, or simply representing their school, these programs create opportunities to build confidence, teamwork, leadership, and lasting friendships. Supporting local schools is one way Mossy of Picayune can give back to the families who support businesses like ours every day.
We are proud to cheer on local students and recognize the teachers, coaches, staff members, parents, and volunteers who dedicate their time to helping young people throughout Pearl River County succeed.
Supporting Local Organizations, First Responders, and Community Traditions
Mossy of Picayune is proud to support the organizations, first responders, and programs that make a difference throughout Picayune and Pearl River County. Our community involvement has included sponsorships supporting the Picayune Police Department, Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office, and NAACP of Pearl River County. We also support programs that encourage participation and inclusion, including Picayune Buddy Ball, which brings people together through athletics, friendship, and community involvement, and The Arc of Pearl River County Glow Run, a 5K and one-mile fun run benefiting The Arc of Pearl River County.
Mossy of Picayune is also proud to support traditions that bring neighbors and families together, including the Pearl River County Fair & Rodeo. Community events like the Fair & Rodeo provide opportunities for residents from across the county to connect, have fun, and celebrate what makes the area special. Picayune isn’t simply where we do business. It’s our community. From Trunk or Treat and Kids Day at the Commons to local schools, first responders, Buddy Ball, the Arc Glow Run, the Pearl River County Fair & Rodeo, and other community organizations, Mossy of Picayune is proud to be involved.
